SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Purpose:

Manages the delivery of client project(s), ensuring delivery of the project in line with client objectives and expectations as well as project timelines. Working closely with the project lead / EM, the Project Manager (PM) serves as the key point of contact for the project, manages the client relationship throughout the term of the project and manages the project team. Senior Associates will also be members of other teams to support the delivery of projects by conducting research, analyzing findings to generate insights and pulling together client deliverables.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Planning ? In partnership with the EM, drafts a robust project plan, to include key milestones / delivery points ? Accurately forecasts resource and capacity needed to deliver the project, in partnership with the EM ? Resources the project team, working with proposed team members’ line managers to ensure the project is aligned with capacity limitations, capabilities and development needs ? Identifies potential project risks and raises these with the EM

Project Delivery ? Leads team analysis meetings to ensure rigorous analysis of all data gathered and generate meaningful insights for the client ? Monitors project progress against the plan, identifying any risks / red flags and informing and/or involving the EM as appropriate ? Maps out the research and output needed to complete the project ? Monitors actual capacity against forecasted and flags variances with the EM to ensure Tenrox work plans are accurate and up-to-date ? Communicates regularly with the project team (including the EM / project lead) to ensure the all team members are fully up-to-speed with project progress

Client Management ? Acts as the key point of contact on the project, addressing any questions / concerns and flagging issues with the EM as appropriate ? Leads project status update meetings, both internally and externally ? Builds relationships with the client project team through delivering quality work, regular follow-ups and updates, etc. ? Ensures client satisfaction throughout the term of the project 

Thinking & Analysis ? Using a range of strategic frameworks, conceptualizes complex data into simplistic, digestible and meaningful insights for clients ? Manages a research team to ensure

People Management ? Delegates project delivery to the project team based on the project plan ? Manages project team members to deliver the project against agreed timeliness and objectives ? Provides feedback to project team members on a regular basis to support their continued development ? Proactively addresses any performance issues in team members, linking in with the individual’s line manager ? Provides development opportunities for project team members, as appropriate ? Communicates key project updates with project team, to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project objectives/status/final outputs of all projectteam members and

Project Review ? Conducts project reviews at the close of every project (or at contract renewal for monitoring projects) to ensure key learnings from the project are captured ? Provides formal feedback to all team

Experience managing projects or streams of work within projects ? Advanced degree in life sciences or business or 2-5 years’ industry experience ? Highly proficient in MS Office (to include Excel and PowerPoint)
